favorites of the month

i can't believe it's actually December!

it's been a good several weeks, which is part of the reason i took a little break from blogging. sometimes it's nice to just enjoy the moment. according to the poll on Instagram i will definitely be putting together winter outfit ideas. until then, i have a couple products / items that i loved in November and wanted to share with the interwebs–

Capri Blue Lola Blossom Candle

i ordered this thinking that it would smell like Volcano, the Anthropologie signature scent that i can't help but fucking love. this candle is similar– it's gorgeous, lasts forever, and fills up the room. it smells fresh and floral. you can definitely tell the difference between the two since Volcano has a much fruitier smell. although i ordered a different candle than i thought i did, i ended up being pleasantly surprised. the packaging is adorable! get it for yourself or a friend :)

Teddy Fresh one day i decided to go full out an order myself a super expensive but cute hoodie because i worked my ass off and i wanted it! Teddy Fresh is a streetwear clothing brand designed by hila and ethan klein who run a podcast together on pop culture. hila klein creates the coolest designs ever and i absolutely loved her aesthetic but i'm really hesitant buying clothes online. but i decided to take the chance and ordered the Splatter Paint Hoodie in white and Two Toned Beanie in black & white... and they are literally my favorite winter pieces ever! the hoodie is extremely well made, durable, and comfortable. the beanie is incredible cute and cozy too. it's to be expected for the price point. what i was really expecting out of an $98 hoodie and $40 beanie? but they both have beautiful embellishments including the embroidered lettering and Teddy Fresh logo which is definitely an expensive touch. overall, their quality is great and makes sense for what they charge. i think the products are worth it for a rare splurge and i'm excited to see order more. they have a new collection so definitely check it out!

Fleece-Lined Vans

my mom bought me gray fleece-lined Vans for Christmas and i absolutely love them. they're super comfortable and i love how warm they are, especially right now as it's 40 some degrees :_(

the sneakers are waterproof so they work in any weather and are very durable. i definitely recommend these to anyone who needs a good winter shoe.

OPI Matte Topcoat

matte nails are a huge trend all over Pinterest and i've always wanted to achieve the perfect matte nail look at home. OPI has one of the best matte topcoat's i've tried. before OPI, i used the Sally Hansen brand top coat and it would not stay matte at all... the polish also became clumpy and streaky. on the other hand, OPI's topcoat creates a smooth matte finish and stays matte forever. it also speeds up the drying process which i love!

Clarity Daily Fruit Mask

this product has easily become my favorite find of the month! during the wintertime i especially find my skin to be on the drier side so my regular moisturizer doesn't cut it. this face mask locks in moisture and makes your skin feel smooth and glowing. apply a thick layer onto your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse with cold water. use the mask once to twice a week.
