stop what you're doing. blm

Updated: Oct 6, 2020

this is going to be a quick but necessary post because first of all this is not my fight. second, this is not about me. this is about the murdering of innocent black lives that has always existed and continues to exist. as a white person with privilege i can only add to the conversation by asking you all to stop what you are doing and donate and support black people and organizations.

when you say "not all cops are bad" you are missing the point. ACAB means that cops are complicit in a corrupt system. this system actively and disproportionately targets people of color. it targets queer people. it targets poor people.

COPS must STOP killing innocent black people. they must STOP tear gassing innocent protestors. they must STOP firing rubber bullets, using weapons, and HURTING people. it is ignorant to not expect the people who have been routinely and violently oppressed to NOT fight back.

if you don't believe me then look at statistics.

i urge you all and especially white people to donate to the Minnesota Freedom Fund. Donate to the Black Visions Collective. Donate to Reclaim the Block. Donate to bail funds in your city. Protest (if you can) against this horrific injustice and violence that has always existed and still exists in our country. Please educate yourself.
